In the year 1993 it was upgraded as middle school, due to the sincere, hard and dedicated work of the sisters. Later in the year of 1997 the school was upgraded as High School. Finally, in 2000 Mary Immaculate Mat. School was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School with great pride and privilege.

In the past 46 years, our Mary Immaculate Heart Matric. Hr. Sec. School, played an important role in giving quality education with discipline and moral life to the poor rural students in and around Kariyandal.

Our school plays a vital role in developing the socio economic status of the people in and around Kariyandal. In the past 46 years our school has produced so many Doctors, Engineers, Army officers, Navalcommanders, Bank managers, Higher officers in various departments and Teachers from the poor family through our education.

We are proud of forming many national level players who are gold and silver medalists. At present there are more than 1226 students studying in our school. Our school management is very much dedicated in offering quality education to the children from very poor and deserving social and economic background.

We the team of Mary Immaculate serving in the education ministry for the past 46 years in terms of preparing the students for their competitive exams have ventured into the undergraduate sector. Our experience in teaching content development, faculty management, and counseling will be benefitting them in their higher education in a significant and substantial way.
